Montpellier ASPTT has been stopped in its quest for promotion to D3 women's league. "It's a second strange match. We thought we were not too far and then we realized we were far. We lacked a bit of freshness, lucidity at times. Maybe a bit too stressed. Yet, in the first leg, we had done the essential even if we had not scored, we had been solid and then today (Sunday), we were too far from this Troyes team that played well, that has a collective base and is technically very interesting", analysed one of the two Montpellier coaches, Rachid Ichou. Troyes lit the first sparks with a shot by Akhnak (11th) and two corners in a row, including a ball floated off the chest to the post by Litho Khamene.
